have you had a chance to try Wolfram's Package here:
http://honk.physik.uni-konstanz.de/~wolfi/osdsh/osdsh_0.7.0-5wjq_powerpc.deb

Please tell me if that one fixes it, so I can upload a new version and
close the bug.
