Look more closely, there's 163116 which has several autofs bugs CCed
(though they appear to have been closed for some reason). Unfortunately
the autofs maintainer closed those bugs by moving the autofs init script
which makes this more pressing than it had been. Sadly this is the
first I've heard of it.

This needs coordinination over several packages: NIS can't move any
earlier at present due to portmap starting at S18, which it requires,
and can't split the init script easily since NIS sytems are frequently
their own client. It seems at the minute that the best solution is for
portmap to move earlier in the init sequence so NIS can move to S18 or
earlier. Failing that autofs should be pushed back up the ordering, for
example with a workaround like using S199.
