Just for clarity. Original reporter on top of bug #353136 is using amd64 bottom message referes to ppc
On both platforms Gambas compiles, but clearly does not yet work. Gambas has some problems with 64bit pointer (amd64), but Gambas also has some endianess problems (ppc). To all practical purpose, of course, this is the same bug: Gambas doesn't start! For Gambas, these bug are unrelated. Since both bugs are worked on independently by different people, and probably will be resolved at different times, would it not be better to split this bug in two ?
