From what I have seen, libapollon.so is built with apt-get source, dpkg-buildpackage but is not installed into /usr/src (see http://packages.debian.org/cgi-bin/search_contents.pl?searchmode=filelist&word=apollon&version=unstable&arch=i386 ) On my machine, Apollon won't run without it (with or without config files, same result in a new account as well), but once the file is copied to /usr/lib Apollon runs. Are you also using i386? And for you Apollon works without any libapollon.so file? Anyway, I'm not sure if severity normal is correct, since the app is entirely unusable as is, which just isn't acceptable for a release.
