Package: hostapd Followup-For: Bug #398466
If the problem reported here is a message like this: ioctl[IEEE80211_IOCTL_SETMLME]: Invalid argument You can find a simple fix here: http://lists.shmoo.com/pipermail/hostap/2006-April/013115.html It worked for me, and it could be a workarround untill hostapd upstream is fixed. I just apt-get source'ed hostapd, commented out that line (line 1210 in the sources of 0.5.5-3), debian/rulez binary, and dpkg -i. Hope it helps. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (99, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-1-k7 Locale: LANG=es_AR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_AR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages hostapd depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-8 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8c-3 SSL shared libraries ii lsb-base 3.1-22 Linux Standard Base 3.1 init scrip hostapd recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
