I'm using mutt to retrieve POP3 mail by pressing 'G', which I know is
discouraged ("use fetchmail").
If I close a bug in the debian BTS, I get 3 messages back: the
submitters original mail, my mail, and something else .. but I think
it is meant to be a single message. I can confirm having just
received "3" messages, which immediately showed up in my mailbox as
"5" messages.
