Hi, The error you see was already reported against the docbook-xsl package, though it's not sure, that it's caused by docbook-xsl (I did not have time to examine it, but using xsltproc/fop works without problems, passivetex fails). But I'm sure, the error is not caused by a part of the docbook-xml package (except the system-ID resolving part, which was filed as bug #318817).
