hi! please have a look at chapter 6.2.1 "General guidelines for package descriptions" of the debian developers reference.
it says "Package descriptions are not the place for advocating your package, no matter how much you love it". i like nexuiz, too, but there's no reason to advocate it against other games in debian. also the reference mentions "Avoid referring to other applications or frameworks that the user might not be familiar with" - you expect most users being familiar with Quake 1. there are many people, who don't know Quake 1 or only know the name "Quake 1" but don't get an impression what that is. and some people who don't like Quake 1, might like Nexuiz - if only they had installed it... and from my experience, most people who are familiar with recent computer games, compare nexuiz to unreal tournament 2004 and not to Quake 1. there's no reason to mark nexuiz as "a better" or even "the best" game in comparison to other games! sorry, but i'll tag this bug as wontfix. regards - fuddl -- Among elephants it's not considered cool nor in any good taste to drain other elephants
