Please, note, i'm talking about having one source but additional deb package for clock handling. Linux kernel (amd64, i386) sets system (in kernel) clock according to CMOS (RTC) on boot time and updates RTC every 11 minutes. hwclock isn't needed for quite a long time. Only dual-boots with time in RTC != UTC, may wish to install additional hwclock package with all its bugs and initscripts. ____ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
