Package: hal
Version: 0.5.8.1-4
Severity: normal

I know, compilation fails when one removes --disable-mbp BUT this is
trivially fixed by adding libz to the libraries, i.e.

hald_addon_macbookpro_backlight_LDADD = $(top_builddir)/libhal/libhal.la
-lz -lpci -ldbus-glib-1 -ldbus-1 -lglib-2.0
