severity 333416 wishlist thanks I think there was some earlier discussion on the proper way to remove /etc/sasldb2 on package purge. Basically, it is necessary to either use debconf (at package install time) or something in the prerm script at purge in order to ask the admin what to do about it.
Perhaps something like what postgresql-server does when it asks the admin whether the database cluster should be nuked or preserved when the package is purged. Regards, -Roberto -- Roberto C. Sanchez http://people.connexer.com/~roberto http://www.connexer.com
