eth2 on my ibook is a firewire device which has a mac of | eth2 Link encap:UNSPEC HWaddr 00-0A-95-FF-FE-85-E7-2C-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00 ifrename does not accept that kind of macs in /etc/iftab.
