Package: gcompris Version: 8.1-3 Severity: normal
The version of the mouse-movement-to-erase-tiles game in the etch/sid version is not as usable as the sarge version used to be. My 2 year old son uses to play this game, and after my today upgrade to etch, he had much more trouble handling the newer version. The tiles are less visible on lighter backgrounds, and the sub-tiles (platch and drop) are non-evident to see for one so young, compared to the older redish colored tiles of gradient colors. Furthermore, the x/10 marker at the bottom right is inside the image, which then hides the tiles, especially the smaller tiles of partially erased versions. Maybe this marker should be made more transparent, or moved to the bottom bar instead ? It seems a bit late now, but it would be really nice if this could in some way be fixed for etch. A nice addition would be to be able to configure the amount of games in each series (currently 10).
