I love glipper, but hate that I have to start it every session. Can it please be made persistent, like network-manager and update- manager, so it's there each time until I remove it?

add glipper to the gnome-session under Desktop | Preferences | Sessions on the Startup Programs tab.

With the new upstream release, this is the recommended way to achieve glipper persistence, as given in the new glipper Help documentation, available by right clicking the glipper icon.

This bug report will be closed when the new version is uploaded.
