shame on me, i just found the -d option. However, it does not seem to work:
diamond:/tmp# nstxd -C /var/run/nstxd -u nstxd -d nstxd my.doma.in Opening tun/tap-device... failed! Diagnostics: Tun (/dev/net/tun): /dev/net/tun not found. Please create /dev/net/ and mknod /dev/net/tun c 10 200 to use the tun-device Tap (/dev/tap0): (only available under linux) /dev/tap0 not found. Please mknod /dev/tap0 c 36 16 to use the tap-device but /dev/net/tun exists. Also, nstxd already returns the tun0 device name it uses to stdout, but start-stop-daemon munges that. All of this also applies to nstxcd, which has no -d switch to begin with. -- .''`. martin f. krafft <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> : :' : proud Debian developer, author, administrator, and user `. `'` http://people.debian.org/~madduck - http://debiansystem.info `- Debian - when you have better things to do than fixing systems
