Package: moreutils Version: 0.18 Severity: wishlist Hi,
The use of boolean operators in combine is a bit strange, since combine, from a mathematical point of view, works on sets. It would be great if aliases could be provided so one could use the set theory operators instead of the boolean operators. I propose: and -> inter or -> union not -> diff, compl, minus (yes, 3 aliases for this one would be great, since it's not really clear which one would be best) xor -> symdiff See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naive_set_theory http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Complement_%28set_theory%29 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symmetric_difference -- | Lucas Nussbaum | [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.lucas-nussbaum.net/ | | jabber: [EMAIL PROTECTED] GPG: 1024D/023B3F4F | -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
