The removal upstream was intentional. The transition from 1.0 to 1.1 was a major rewrite that broke over 80% of the translation literals of all languages. Therefore I removed all translations from the 1.1 source. I'v now readded 3 retranslations (ja, pl and de). If you want to have the Catalan translation re-included it needs to be updated!
