Package: python-feedparser Version: 4.1-5 Severity: normal feedparser tries to import chardet and uses it to determine character encoding if other methods fail. feedparser will continue to run if chardet is unavailable, but with reduced functionality. Now that python-chardet is packaged, I (as the upstream author) feel there is no reason not to recommend it.
