Package: chrony
Version: 1.21z-4
Severity: important

Chrony works great here after the initial install, no changes to defaults made.
 However,
after rebooting and reestablishing a dialup connection the time servers were
not contacted.
A couple of chrony purge and install cycles revealed that if chrony was
installed with an
active dialup connection everything worked until after rebooting. But, if
chrony was
installed while dialup was down, chrony couldn't connect to the time servers
when a dialup
connection was made.

Messages from syslog upon reboot (makes sense because there is no dialup at
boot time):

If other dialup users are not seeing this problem, feel free to downgrade the
bug.
