Hi Tony, i'm sorry for the delay. But i read the debian bugtracking system not regularly.
My "x-terminal-emulator" pointed to gnome-terminal as you assumed. I changed that to xterm. To be shure, i even set default.terminal to xterm in ~/.csshrc. # [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ls -la /etc/alternatives/x-terminal-emulator # lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 20 Nov 6 16:15 /etc/alternatives/x-terminal-emulator -> /usr/X11R6/bin/xterm # [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ grep term .csshrc # default.terminal = xterm # [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ The behaviour is the same. If i start cssh from the current stable debian distribution, it flashes the term up and vanishes directly afterwards. I tried to capture that with wink, but it vanishes so fast, that i can't see the xterm in the captured swf file. Can i do something to help you locate the error. (Perhaps it makes sense to put my address on cc in your answer.) with kind regards -- Hans-Joachim Hoetger voice: +49-5246-80-1555 Telefónica Deutschland GmbH fax: +49-5246-80-2555 "Der Gast wird auf dem Klo nicht alt, hält man es dreckig und auch kalt!"
