As a result, my current understanding of the state of this bug is that: the debian/copyright file for the package does correctly list *a* set of license terms for the software, even if they're not the license terms that we want to be distributing the software under in order to comply with the DFSG; and the work (or a newer version of it from the same copyright holder) is available upstream under a DFSG-free license. The first bug is an important bug, rather than a serious bug; the second one qualifies for an etch-ignore tag. So I'm adding that tag now. Please let me know if I've misunderstood some detail of this package's situation (or just upload the bugfix so I don't have to worry about it ;). -- Steve Langasek Give me a lever long enough and a Free OS Debian Developer to set it on, and I can move the world.
