hi
I have prepared a package of mplayer-skin-blue
I have used the package of Christian Marillat as basis ; here is the
changelog
* new upstream
* provides a skin (Closes: #396462)
* standard version 3.7.2 (no change)
* set up so that multiple skin packages will be possible:
- use alternatives to set /usr/share/mplayer/skins/default
- do not install icons
- do not create symlink usr/share/mplayer/skins usr/share/mplayer/Skin
* do not nuke /usr/share/mplayer/Skin on preinstall
you may find that package at http://tonelli.sns.it/pub/mplayer/etch
If nobody has any objection, I will upload that package in Debian
a.

Hi,
Do you mean that the default skin will be provided in other package than
mplayer? Well, then mplayer should depends on mplayer-skin-blue better than
recommends it, am I wrong?. But mplayer-skin-blue isn't useful for any other
package and isn't useful as stand alone (I think). Why then not to make mplayer
providing a default skin inside it's package?
Best Regards,
Manolo
