Hi, I maintain the Debian package of qsynth in the official Debian repository.
One of our users came with the request that the Sample rate be automatically disabled when jackd driver is used. More of this in the bug report: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=362613 This feature makes sense to me but outpasses my maintainer's duties, so I'll tag it as 'upstream' and kindly ask you to implement it.
