Package: getmail
Version: 4.6.2-3 (testing, etch)
When starting getmail it won't create the ~/.getmail directory if necessary.
Example getmailrc:
[retriever]
type = SimplePOP3Retriever
server = pop.server.net
username = mymailuser
password = mymailpass
[destination]
type = Maildir
path = /path/to/somewhere/
user = myuser
getmail should create the ~/.getmail directory automatically if it has
enough rights to do so.
