Package: libaudacious-dev Version: 1.1.2-2 Severity: wishlist To compile plugins and such-like, the xmms-dev package is required. Perhaps libaudacious-dev should suggest xmms-dev ? I think that a better option would be to repackage xmms-dev into libaudacious-dev. Or introduce a new package audacious-dev that will depend on libaudacious-dev and xmms-dev.
However, xmms-dev depends on xmms, and this might not be the right way to solve the problem. So, what I would prefer is: 1. Rename xmms-dev to audacious-dev, removing the dependency on xmms. 2. Make libaudacious-dev depend on audacious-dev. This, I think would fit in better with upstream organisation as well, as the libaudacious directory doesn't have any xmms code in it. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages libaudacious-dev depends on: ii libaudacious3 1.1.2-2 Audacious C++ shared library libaudacious-dev recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
