Package: kernel-package Version: 10.064 Severity: important Hi, I used 'fakeroot make-kpkg --initrd binary' to build kernel packages for 2.6.19-rc4. Symlinks in /lib/modules/2.6.19-rc4/ are here :
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 34 2006-11-02 00:05 build -> /home/djdeath/src/linux-2.6.19-rc4 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 34 2006-11-02 00:05 source -> /home/djdeath/src/linux-2.6.19-rc4 They point to the directory where I build the package and not to /usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.19-rc4 where associate kernel-headers package is installed. This cause every module build to fail if I remove the directory where I build the kernel packages. Happy fix :) -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.19-rc4 Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages kernel-package depends on: ii dpkg 1.13.24 package maintenance system for Deb ii dpkg-dev 1.13.24 package building tools for Debian ii file 4.17-4 Determines file type using "magic" ii gcc [c-compiler] 4:4.1.1-13 The GNU C compiler ii gcc-4.1 [c-compiler] 4.1.1-19 The GNU C compiler ii gettext 0.15-2 GNU Internationalization utilities ii make 3.81-3 The GNU version of the "make" util ii perl 5.8.8-6.1 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction ii po-debconf 1.0.7 manage translated Debconf template Versions of packages kernel-package recommends: ii bzip2 1.0.3-6 high-quality block-sorting file co ii libc6-dev [libc-dev] 2.3.6.ds1-7 GNU C Library: Development Librari -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
