I cannot reproduce this failure, even though I'm trying. There's no clear error message, so I could use some help from you. You could help me by doing the following: Add "set -x" at the top of /var/lib/dpkg/info/phpmyadmin.postinst and then run dpkg --configure -a So I can see what line gives the trouble. It would also help if you could use the 'reportbug' tool to report / followup to bugs, since that adds useful system information for me. thanks, Thijs
