Package: openoffice.org-writer Version: 2.0.4-5 Severity: important
I first came across this in the 64bit 2.0.4-1 package. I've been using OOo in a 32 bit chroot and most of my documents were created using this. I've switched to 64bit recently and in the main it works well AFAICT. However, if I open a letter/invoice created in 32bit, the graphic logo is missing. I've upgraded progressively to 2.0.4-5 but the problem persists. Vitezslav Kotrla offered to test on his system and came up with the following: > The attached has been created in the 32bit version of OOo 2.0.3-4 but > when I open it in 64bit 2.0.4-2, the logo is missing. Confirmed, no logo on my AMD64 Sid. But I opened and saved (as .doc) it in 32bit oowriter. File size after this save was 74 kB. But back on 64bit system logo shows! I can even save in 64bit oowriter and logo is still there, but filesize is 123 kB. (Why?!). See attached file, changes are as follows: - opened in 32bit oowriter (logo ok) - saved as .doc - opend in 64bit oowriter (logo ok) - saved as .doc (two times, logo still there) Let me know if you need the attachments Thanks Clive -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-1-amd64 Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages openoffice.org-writer depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.1.1-19 GCC support library ii libicu36 3.6-1 International Components for Unico ii libstdc++6 4.1.1-19 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libstlport4.6c2 4.6.2-3 STLport C++ class library ii libwpd8c2a 0.8.7-4 Library for handling WordPerfect d ii openoffice.org-core 2.0.4-5 OpenOffice.org office suite archit ii python-uno 2.0.4-5 Python interface for OpenOffice.or ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-13 compression library - runtime Versions of packages openoffice.org-writer recommends: ii gij-4.1 [java2-runtime] 4.1.1-17 The GNU Java bytecode interpreter ii java-gcj-compat 1.0.65-8 Java runtime environment using GIJ ii openoffice.org-java-common 2.0.4-5 OpenOffice.org office suite Java s -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
