Hi Michael,

My wlan router broadcasts the network essid and it's correctly identified by
network-manager. I'm also sure I to use the good plaintext passphrase. ;-)

I've tried to "play" with "NetworkManager --no-daemon" but the output is a
little verbose and I don't know what to look for. If it can help, I can send
you three outputs: using the good hex key (working), using the good plaintext
passphrase (not working) and using a wrong passphrase (plus using a wrong
key?).

Is there a console tool the "manage network-manager" to test if the problem
comes from it or from the applet? Unfortunately, I can't compare with
knetworkmanager as this one does not even find my wlan card (a bug I plan to
report)?

Sincerely,

Yannick
