Frans, with all your lecturing to check a bit before commenting, i would have hoped you would do so yourself. The part of the kernel patched by this patch is totally unused in debian, it is moved into mkvmlinuz, but even then, it is not used in debian-installer, since the miboot images build code is not using mkvmlinuz since a year or so. I even commented to this effect in a direct followup to the mail benh wrote with the patch : http://lists.debian.org/debian-powerpc/2006/09/msg00338.html So you really have no excuse for doing such sloppy work, and i expect you to be more humble when you comment about similar error i may make in the future.
