Package: rdesktop
Version: 1.5.0-1
Severity: normal
Well, this version of rdesktop is satisfactory except one problem. When
I use the -r sound:local option to redirect the remote sound to local
and play music remotely, it just prevent any other program from
accessing the sound card (by using /dev/dsp to play sound).
I compared the CVS head and the 1.5.0 tag, and found that this problem
had been solved in the newest CVS version by introducing more configurable
sound drivers such as alsa/oss/libao. One can specify the driver in
command line options like this: -r sound:local:alsa.
This CVS version works just fine for me. You can make a new package using
this CVS snapshot.
Best Wishes
G.R.
