AqBanking is linked against OpenSSL, thus it cannot be linked against pure GPL libraries. - libofx is GPL, but it looks like it has a single author (and a very broken debian/copyright), so I'll ask him about linking to OpenSSL (and please, DON'T ask him yourself without coordinating with me, we don't want to bother him more than necessary). - libosp, a libofx dependency is licensed under what looks like BSD, but the Debian-subdir says it's GPL? (IMHO this is strange and we certainly don't link against anything in the Debian dir...) In order to link with gnucash, one would want to replace OpenSSL, which would be the preferable alternative, but a lot of work. We can only enable the OFX backend after these issues are resolved, and it's unlikely that we can do this for etch, sorry.
