Package: pdns-server Version: 2.9.20-6 Severity: normal Hi,
I'm letting pdns bind on the ipv6 wildcard address. Which in linux also binds on v4. When a machine in my local domain (that's allowed to recurse) queries it i get the following output: Oct 28 13:31:15 jupiter pdns[2118]: Not authoritative for 'luon.net', sending servfail to ::ffff:10.0.0.160 (recursion was desired) Binding instead on the wildcard ipv4 address works fine. pdns probably should convert the ::ffff:10.0.0.160 to 10.0.0.160 before further checking Sjoerd -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (101, 'unstable') Architecture: arm (armv5tel) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-1-iop32x Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=nl_NL (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages pdns-server depends on: ii adduser 3.97 Add and remove users and groups ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.6 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.1.1-13+b1 GCC support library ii libstdc++6 4.1.1-13+b1 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii ucf 2.0015 Update Configuration File: preserv ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-13 compression library - runtime Versions of packages pdns-server recommends: ii pdns-doc 2.9.20-6 PowerDNS manual -- debconf information: pdns-server/localaddress: pdns-server/allowrecursion: 127.0.0.1 pdns-server/autostart: true -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
