I removed that option. Gaim will now always use TLS if available. The
rationale was that there is never a time when you would NOT want to use TLS.

While i agree with you that gaim should always use TLS if availabe i
still wonder what if the server doesn't provide TLS. Will gaim warn me
about it? How can I spot that the connection uses TLS or that it does
not? Since i know that it is hard in gaim - i miss "Require TLS" option.
How can I tell gaim that TLS is required for a specified account? I
believe that those options should be un-removed. ;-)
