Package: wpasupplicant Version: 0.5.5-2 Severity: normal I tried the new modes of wpa_supplicant using /e/n/i. Using "wpa-conf /path/to/config" works fine but unfortunately blocks the boot process. But when I use the new roaming mode (which is quite nicely implemented btw.), my card, a ipw2100, does not associate. If I login and run "wpa_cli -i wlan0 scan" manually, I get a connection a few seconds later. So my guess is, that in roaming mode the card is not properly initialized to do scanning.
