So this bug should be filed against tetex-base. Replacing the ampersand
with an letter f as shown in the lines around makes the postinst script
of tetex-bin complete successfully. I don't know if this is correct
since
I'm no tex-internal-guru.
But I think this is it. If you still need the output file let know.
