        Gnus is a large package, having it not be arch: all is not
 such a good idea.

        Well, it can then depend on Gnus (if it is of no use without
 it). Gnus can then suggest it.

        Well, since the starttls source is not part of the Gnus
 sources, this is something I do not like to do (that is, munge
 different sources into one debian source). So, please, yes, do ask
 for a separate package for this.
