Bug#299497: audacity: trimming

Thanks for the request.  I'm not certain exactly what the requested
feature is, however.  Can you ask the original reporter for a more
detailed description of the desired action?

As far as I could understand the person wanted to cut/copy a piece of audio,
put it on another track, and then be able to "push back" the place where
the piece was cut/copied. This would imply that Audacity knows where the
piece of audio comes from, so that some extra sound at the beginning (or
the end) can be added if needed.
That's great to hear!  Is this related to the GeekCorps Mali project?
