Package: base Severity: normal With IPv6 you can have more than one IP address per interface and giving the amount of available IPv6 addresses it is very common to have many addresses on one interface. I couldn't find a way to set this up in Debian. I think there's no way, if it is so this bug is about enabling it, otherwise is about unhiding the feature. The result of that configuration should be the same as just running:
ip -6 addr add SOME:IPv6:ADDRESS dev ethN I've tried having various virtual devices, eth0:0, eth0:1; but that doesn't work because they all have the same MAC address leading to the same link level IPv6 address and by that, a conflict. Thank you. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.32 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) PS: I couldn't figure out to which package this belonged. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
