Package: sg-utils Version: 1.02-3 Severity: serious Justification: package is probably unusable with kernels provided with Debian
Hi, The description for sg-utils states that: This package includes a number of utilities to manipulate the linux "sg" (version 2) device driver, and to a lesser extent, the version 1 driver found in the 2.0.x kernels. . The version 2 driver is only found in 2.2.x linux kernels; if you are using 2.4, please install the sg3-utils package instead. So, if I understand it correctly, it means that this package is totally useless since Debian doesn't package pre-2.4 kernels anymore.
