Contrary to what is written in the manual:
-cont Start in continuous view mode, i.e., with one vertical scroll
bar
for the whole document. [config file: continuousView]
the .continuousView option of .Xresources is not taken into account
(-cont command line option is however taken into account).
Example:
- Add
xpdf.continuousView: true
to ~/.Xresources.
- Execute
xrdb -merge ~/.Xresources
- Check whether xpdf usr it.
(I hope somebody listens to xpdf bugs.)
