Package: postfix Version: Severity: wishlist I was trying to debug a problem with a list of smtpd_sender_restrictions and it occurred to me that it might be nice to have something like "warn_if_reject" but just for logging where you were in the list of restrictions. So maybe it would be called something like log_mark, and it would log something like 'log_mark: next is "$next_rule"'. The resulting log entries would be timestamped, so you could use multiple log_mark's and determine how long something would take. This could be thought of as "printf debugging for postfix" or for measuring between marks maybe even "rule profiling".
