Hello Joss, I work all this afternoon on nicotine and here is what I did:
nicotine (1.2.6+svn.r139-1) unstable; urgency=low
* New upstream release (Closes: #394829).
* Install upstream manpages.
* Add ${shlibs:Depends} to runtime depencies.
* Handle debian specific pathes with dpatch.
* Update icon and urls (Closes: #392519).
* debian/copyright improved.
* Many thanks to Adam Cécile for this work!
I also fixed some lintian warnings in upstream, that's why I updated the
packaging on the latest svn revision.
I wrote manpages too, there're now part of upstream.
You will find debian dir attached ;-)
Thanks in advance to release this new version.
I didn't understand what you do to make the src dfsg compliant so I haven't
updated that part. Please explain us exactly what's the licensing issue so
we'll fix them in upstream.
Please consider removing win32 related files in tarball if you repack it, if
not some copyright notices should be added... (See
pynicotine/gtkgui/systraywin32.py, tools/).
You should suffix the version with .dfsg too...
