Package: libapache2-mod-mono
Version: 1.1.17-3
Severity: important

Hi folks,

libapache2-mod-mono is currently uninstallable in unstable, because it's
built for the apache 2.0 ABI and the current version in unstable is 2.2. As
a result, apache2.2-common conflicts with older versions of
libapache2-mod-mono.

I've filed this at severity "important" rather than "serious", because
mod-mono appears to be binNMUable as a solution for this problem; however,
this is only because the package doesn't depend on apache$version-common,
which is what is expected from such modules.

So at some point, please add a versioned build-dep on apache2-dev (>= 2.2)
and a runtime dependency on apache2.2-common, so that it's clear to any
backporters that source changes should be made if used with apache 2.0.

Thanks,
