Package: dvilx Version: 1:01.03-11 Severity: normal When I use dvilx to display dvi files generated from latex, any images included in the latex appear corrupted. It looks like the images have been stretched and distorted. They are still somewhat recognizable, but something has clearly gone wrong in the display process. This problem seems to be specific to amd64. I have used the stable version of dvilx on i386 Debian machines and have not seen this problem.
Here's sample latex that exhibits the problem: \documentclass{article} \usepackage{graphicx} \begin{document} \includegraphics{test} \end{document} I'm attaching test.eps. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.15.4-jr Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages dvilx depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22sarge4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libkpathsea3 2.0.2-30sarge4 path search library for teTeX (run ii libx11-6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-14sarge2 X Window System protocol client li ii tetex-bin 2.0.2-30sarge4 The teTeX binary files ii xlibs 4.3.0.dfsg.1-14sarge2 X Keyboard Extension (XKB) configu -- no debconf information
