i play around with network-manager also since some days and would
guess that guessnet is also a canditate for conflicting with
network-manager.
a suggest-conflict state in debian's package database would be nice.
what about resolvconf? i get the message
NetworkManager: <information>^IDHCP returned name servers but
system has disabled dynamic modification!
if it is installed.
