I believe this report is misleading, probably because it comes from a
user that doesn't habitually customize wmaker and instead uses the
default settings. The full truth is that after upgrade, most (all?)
settings are changed, even if I customized. For example, I have a
setting to put window captions on the left side, but after the upgrade
they are centered. It seems after I re-customize (with WPrefs) I can
get it to work again, but ouch, to redo it everything is painful.
Perhaps the format of the config file changed or something? If so it
would have been good to warn in the changelog ...
