I completely purged slapd packages (so /var/lib/ldap and /etc/ldap/schema did not exist), and installed slapd from stable. Even this failed! This is the error:
Setting up slapd (2.2.23-8) ... Creating initial slapd configuration... done. Creating initial LDAP directory... /etc/ldap/schema/core.schema: line 128: Duplicate attributeType: "2.5.4.13" slapadd: bad configuration file! I compared the core.schema with the one from a working Sarge installation, and it's (as expected) identical! So it wrongly detects a problem in default schemas...
