bzflag crashes my machine, but I don't know if it takes the whole machine down or just the keyboard, mouse and monitor, because I currently don't have a second machine to do a remote login. I have to reset my computer the hard way, which is pretty uncomfortable. I wouldn't write this report if it didn't happen enough times now. It also seems to be related to observer mode. It used to only happen if I was in observer mode for a long time. Now it happens on different maps even if I just play, but most of the time it happens after I have been in observer mode. I use etch and did a complete reinstall for different reasons (kinda related to frequent crashes messing up my filesystem) and it now comes even more frequently. What happens is a freeze. If there was a sound (for example an explosion) it doesn't just stop, but fades out as if the game was still in perfect order. Like lag. But then I realize that the mouse does not work either any more. I have no idea why I am the first one writing this. The crashes started at least a month ago.
