Package: darcs Version: 1.0.8-1 Severity: important If I pull a patch with 'addfile' in it, but the file in question already exists in my checkout unversioned (not recorded at all), a pull will silently overwrite the local version. Subversion, for example, will then complain that another file is in the way.
I do not believe darcs should silently overwrite files in that case, but ask the user, and offer the option to abort the pull, or maybe also offer the option to leave the local file unchanged. The same thing happens when push'ing. --Jeroen -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17-2-686 Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages darcs depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcomerr2 1.39-1 common error description library ii libcurl3 7.15.5-1 Multi-protocol file transfer libra ii libgmp3c2 2:4.2.1+dfsg-4 Multiprecision arithmetic library ii libidn11 0.6.5-1 GNU libidn library, implementation ii libkrb53 1.4.4-3 MIT Kerberos runtime libraries ii libncurses5 5.5-3 Shared libraries for terminal hand ii libreadline5 5.1-9 GNU readline and history libraries ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8c-3 SSL shared libraries ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-13 compression library - runtime Versions of packages darcs recommends: ii exim4 4.63-3 metapackage to ease exim MTA (v4) ii exim4-daemon-light [mail-tran 4.63-3 lightweight exim MTA (v4) daemon -- no debconf information -- Jeroen van Wolffelaar [EMAIL PROTECTED] (also for Jabber & MSN; ICQ: 33944357) http://Jeroen.A-Eskwadraat.nl -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
